These boards are ideal to use for serving cheeses, fruit, deli meats, crackers, breads and dishes of sauces and dips.
The Materials and Assembly Process
This large, thick chopping block was are crafted from Canadian oak, walnut, cherry and curly maple hardwoods with some exotic sapele hardwood incorporated in the board for contrasting highlights. Maple feet on the underside. Size 12” x15” x 1 5/8” thick.
Care and Cleaning
Do not put your charcuterie board in the dishwasher or in a sink full of water to soak, as it can cause the board to crack or warp and the live edge may become detached from the board. After use, use a dishcloth and warm water with a mild antibacterial dish soap. Rinse it, dry and stand it on edge allowing for airflow, to permit the board to completely dry, before storing.
After a number of uses, give your board a wipe with full strength white vinegar to disinfect the board. Stand it on edge so that air can circulate and dry the board completely before storing.
